• SET UP CHARGES:
Setup charges apply to ALL printed and embroidered orders. In order for your artwork to be printed out the manufacturer must physically set up your artwork weather it be on screens to be printed out or digitized and sewn for embroidery.
Reduced setup charges with the same manufacturer for all reorders. Most reorders must be done within an 18month period. Most manufacturers do not retain the artwork for more than 1-2 years.
• PMS MATCHES:
Most manufacturer charge for exact color matches. Pricing varies from company to company. Usually in the $35-$45 range PER color. Some products cannot be guaranteed, especially on dark colors.
• PAPER PROOF:
Manufacturer prints out a production proof on paper. We send it for your review. Manufacturers charge for this service. Usually $8.50 - $20.00 depending on the item and degree of art. If you have a high priced item or large quantity this is usually an inexpensive way to get an idea of how your product will turn out.
• ITEM PROOF:
Usually termed a "preproduction sample". The cost involved is usually the unit price of the product the cost of set-up and any running charges. Allow a minimum of 5 working days for preproduction sample. PRODUCTION TIME BEGINS AFTER RECEIPT OF WRITTEN APPROVAL. Proof set up charges do not apply to preproduction samples.
• SAMPLES:
Random samples may be ordered for a minimal charge.
• RUNNING CHARGES: Additional charges incurred for additional specifications; For example, the cost of 3 additional colors may be $.25 to $.35 per color, depending on the product.
• SPLIT SHIPMENTS:
Most manufacturers will do split deliveries. There is a charge. Each company is different. Please ask when placing order.
• UNDER MINIMUM ORDERS:
The minimum quantity might be 250, but you only need 191 pieces. Most companies have a "less than minimum" charge that will allow you to order smaller quantities. Charges vary. Please ask when placing your order.
• COPY CHANGES:
Any changes to the artwork will incur extra charges.
